Senior Software Engineer
We're looking for software engineers who are excited about what AI can actually do for people — not just what it can do in a demo. At Page, every feature you ship directly helps veterans get the benefits they've earned and the advocates who represent them work faster and more effectively.
You'll work across the stack — from the AI systems that read and understand thousands of pages of medical and legal records, to the product interfaces that make complex information clear and actionable. We move fast, ship constantly, and hold ourselves to a high bar because the people who use our platform depend on it.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI pipelines that extract structured data from thousands of pages of complex legal and medical documents
- Design agentic workflows that reason over evidence, make decisions, and take action across complex case files
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data infrastructure that power the platform
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge models as they ship — staying on the frontier of what's possible
- Ship production-grade AI features end-to-end — from system design to deployment and monitoring
What we're looking for
- Strong Python experience with production backend systems (FastAPI, Django, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic patterns, and working with frontier model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Familiarity with tool use, multi-step reasoning, structured outputs, and modern AI application patterns
- Experience with data pipelines, OCR, or document processing at scale
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), Docker, and CI/CD
- A bias toward shipping — you move fast, iterate, and care about the end result for users
- A desire to build technology that has a real impact on people who deserve it
